November 4, Fineko/abcnews. Presenting the draft 2027 state budget law at a parliamentary committee hearing, Finance Minister Sahil Babayev stated that capital expenditures are projected at AZN 13.8 billion, accounting for 32.5% of total budget spending.

The minister added that state debt service costs are estimated at AZN 2.2 billion (5.2% of total expenditures). He emphasized that Azerbaijan’s low overall public debt allows its debt servicing costs relative to the state budget to remain significantly below global averages.
