September 3, Fineko/abc.az. The development of the TRIPP route (“Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity”) could strengthen the transport link between mainland Azerbaijan and Nakhchivan, expand connections between Europe and Asia, and increase the region’s transit, logistics and investment potential.

This was stated by Deputy Economy Minister Anar Akhundov at the 4th International Conference on Mine Action in Baku.

He noted that Azerbaijan is implementing large-scale road and railway infrastructure projects in Karabakh and East Zangezur.

“These projects strengthen connections within the liberated territories and integrate them into national and international transport networks,” Akhundov said.

According to the deputy minister, improved transport links and infrastructure, as well as the availability of land safely brought into economic use, are creating new investment opportunities.
