August 22, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (TCMB) has officially revoked its regulation regarding the integration of physical gold assets into the national financial system. The decision was published in the official state bulletin "Resmî Gazete."

The original decree, in effect since March 14, 2022, outlined the procedures and rules for bringing physical gold holdings into the formal banking system.

The new decree enters into force on its publication date, August 22, 2026, with execution overseen by the Governor of the Central Bank of Türkiye.
