August 20, Fineko/abc.az. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree approving the "State Program for Tourism Development 2026–2030." The decree outlines specific implementation measures and assigns key tasks to relevant government bodies.

Under the order, the Cabinet of Ministers must submit proposals to improve the "Law on Tourism" within six months and refine the mechanisms for granting investment promotion certificates to tourism projects within three months. The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is tasked with submitting proposals to enhance the aviation sector's contribution to tourism within three months. Program financing will be allocated annually via the state budget by the Ministries of Finance and Economy, while monitoring and evaluation will be conducted by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.
