August 15, Fineko/abc.az. In the 2025 state budget, 4 billion 896.7 million AZN was projected for the "Education" sector to implement 101 measures under 10 programs by 26 executing organizations. According to the Ministry of Finance, this represents an increase of 346.4 million AZN (7.6%) compared to the previous year.

Based on agency requests, 4 billion 619.5 million AZN was disbursed (5.7% or 277.2 million AZN less than projected), which was fully utilized according to reported data.

Expenditure Breakdown:

• Ministry of Science and Education: Accounted for 90.2% of total utilized sector funds;

• Unallocated (Block) Reserves: 76.6 million AZN was spent out of the projected 197.9 million AZN (4%).
