Swiss National Bank's U.S. Stock Holdings Reach $191 Billion

August 12, Fineko/abc.az. According to a 13F filing submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the value of the Swiss National Bank’s (SNB) stock holdings across more than 2,300 U.S.-listed companies reached $191.4 billion as of June 30.

The SNB holds slightly over a quarter of its foreign exchange reserves in equities, a significant portion of which is allocated in the United States.

Key Portfolio Highlights:

  • Top Holdings: The central bank's three largest single investments are in Nvidia, Apple, and Microsoft.

  • Controversial Stake: Despite public protests, the SNB also holds a $716.6 million stake in defense software company Palantir.
