Baku-Tbilisi-Baku rail tickets lowered

July 7, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan Railways CJSC (ADY) continues creating more affordable opportunities for passengers in order to increase passenger satisfaction and meet the growing passenger traffic on international railway route Baku-Tbilisi-Baku.

From July 10, Azerbaijan Railways (ADY) will increase the capacity of trains on the railroad almost by 60% by adding three sleeping cars to the trains.

ADY informs that this will increase the number of seats on each train from 178 to 282 and provide passengers with more affordable fares.

Tickets for the additional standard+ class wagons have been available for purchase since today. The prices for tickets in these wagons are more affordable compared to the prices for tickets in Stadler-manufactured wagons.

For example, the standard+ class fare for the Baku-Tbilisi-Baku route starts at 40.30 manats, depending on the distance. The minimum fare in one direction on the route from Baku to Tbilisi is 65.20 manats, from Yevlakh – 53.30 manats, from Ganja – 49.30 manats, and from Agstafa – 45.30 manats. From Boyuk-Kesik to Tbilisi and Gardabani station, it is 43.40 and 40.30 manats, respectively.
