July 3, Fineko/abc.az. Turkey intends to join payment zone SEPA Euro and reform the legislation on public procurement to bring it closer to the EU.

ABC.AZ reports that Turkish Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek said this following negotiations with European Commissioner for Economy Valdis Dombrovskis.

Participation in SEPA is expected to speed up and reduce the cost of cross-border payments, and changes in the laws will ensure equal conditions for EU companies. Ankara also expects to deepen economic integration and unlock significant trade potential.
