June 25, Fineko/abc.az. BP has signed a concession agreement with ADNOC and partners for the Bab Gas Cap project, gaining a 10% stake and gaining access to Abu Dhabi's onshore gas resources for the first time.

ABC.AZ reports that the project includes three reservoirs and is designed to produce up to 1.5 billion cubic feet of gas per day. It will support UAE's domestic demand and plans to expand its LNG exports.

ADNOC owns 60% of the project, and TotalEnergies, CNPC International, INPEX, China ZhenHua Oil, and GS Energy also have shares.
