Turkey's TSKB Secures $350 Million Green Financing Facility from Japan

June 12, Fineko/abc.az. Türkiye Sınai Kalkınma Bankası (TSKB) has secured a $350 million green-themed loan facility from Japanese financial institutions to support environmental infrastructure projects.

According to ABC.AZ, citing the bank’s regulatory disclosure on the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) executed on June 12, 2026:

The credit facility was signed under the repayment guarantee of the Turkish Ministry of Treasury and Finance. The loan agreement was formalized with the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) alongside MUFG Bank, Ltd. acting as the facility agent. TSKB will deploy the $350 million capital pool across Turkey to fund renewable energy, industrial energy efficiency, water preservation, waste management systems, and other qualified green investments aiming to curb greenhouse gas emissions.
