June 12, Fineko/abc.az. Ismailli district has achieved significant results in the agricultural sector in recent years.

ABC.AZ informs that Ismailli district mayor Nahid Bagirov said this at a regional meeting within the framework of the State Program for production & processing of agricultural products, fish and aquaculture 2026-2030.

According to Bagirov, the unique ecological and geographical conditions of the region create great opportunities for development of various areas of agriculture. The differences in microclimate between mountainous and lowland zones along the vertical zonation make it possible to prolong the ripening period of products, which ensures a longer and more stable release of products to the market and, as a result, optimization of farmers' incomes.

Agropark Ivanovka is one of the most exemplary models of modern agricultural development. Modern irrigation systems, innovative horticultural technologies and a sustainable food supply have been created here. Fundamental steps are being taken in the village of Ivanovka to develop dairy farming based on modern industrial principles.

The construction of a dairy processing plant worth 10 million manats will further strengthen these traditions. After the plant is put into operation, it is planned to expand the production of traditional Ivanovka butter, as well as various types of dairy products.

Here, along with traditional products, the production of competitive products in a wide range will be organized - from high-quality butter to European and national cheeses, as well as cream, cottage cheese and other dairy products, in volumes of thousands of tons.
