May 22, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Apr 2026, Azerbaijan produced 480,700 tons of gasoline (13.6% more versus Jan-Apr 2025), 782,900 tons of diesel fuel (a rise of 7.8%), 164,200 tons of kerosene (a drop of 16.2%), 18,100 tons of fuel oil (a drop by 67.2%), 62,200 tons of liquefied gases (a drop by 13.5%).
The production of petroleum coke and other oil residues increased by 9.6% up to 230,100 tons. At that, production of petroleum coke observed growth by 27.7% up to 81,600 tons and petroleum bitumen declined by 18.3% to 40,200 tons.
As of May 1, 2026, the largest volume of finished goods in industrial warehouses was recorded on diesel fuel - 143,800 tons. Gasoline reserves totaled 61,700 tons.
Meanwhile, in Azerbaijan, starting from the beginning of 2026, the Tariff Council raised the retail price of gasoline from 1.1 manats to 1.15 manats per liter, and for diesel fuel - from 1 manat to 1.1 manats.
