May 15, Fineko/abc.az. In the 1st quarter of 2026, the residents of industrial zones under the jurisdiction of the Economic Zones Development Agency (under the Ministry of Economy) produced output for 883 million manats (12.2% more against Q1 of 2025), ABC.AZ informs with reference to the Agency.

The industrial zones have created favorable business and investment environment for residents. In order to stimulate investor activity, the residents of industrial parks receive a range of important tax benefits from the moment of registration for 10-year term.

In particular, they are exempt from property, land and profit taxes, as well as from VAT and customs duties on equipment, technological installations and machinery imported for production purposes for 10-year period. This optimizes investment costs and creates additional opportunities for production expansion.
