May 6, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan expects annual inflation to remain within the target range in 2026-2027.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the CBA that according to the May baseline scenario, annual inflation is projected at 5.9% in 2026 and 4.5% in 2027.

The regulator notes that the upward revision of the inflation forecast is mainly linked with increased external inflationary pressures. Among the key factors are acceleration of growth of world food prices, intensification of inflationary processes among Azerbaijan's trading partners, as well as slowdown in strengthening of the nominal effective exchange rate.
