May 1, Fineko/abc.az. During the 1st quarter of 2026, operating expenses on Baku–Tbilisi–Ceyhan (BTC) project totaled approx. $30 million and capital expenditures - $28 million. This means a 6.25% reduction in operating expenses and a 2.2-fold rise on capital expenditures compared with 2025.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to bp’s report, that from the moment of commissioning in June 2006 until the end of Q1 of 2026, a total of around 626 million tons (more than 4.7 billion barrels) were transported through the 1,768 km long BTC pipeline crude oil that was shipped to 6,210 tankers in Ceyhan and shipped to world markets.
