April 24, Fineko/abc.az. In April, oil supplies from the Persian Gulf countries dropped by 57% compared with the pre-crisis level, ABC.AZ informs, referring to Goldman Sachs.

Production in the region fell by 14.5 million b/d.

Experts say that restoration is possible only with the opening of the Strait of Hormuz and sustained ceasefire, and may take several months.

Oil prices are rising amid the crisis: Brent rose by 17% in a week, exceeding $107 a barrel. At the same time, Goldman Sachs warns that prolonged closure of the Strait will slow down the recovery of the industry.
