March 17, Fineko/abc.az. Tesla and LG Energy Solution agreed to construct a plant in Michigan for $4.3 bn.

ABC.AZ informs that the company will start operating in 2027 and will produce LFP batteries for Megapack energy storage systems.

The project aims to reduce U.S. dependence on imports and develop its own battery supply chain.
