March 17, Fineko/abc.az. The military conflict in the Middle East has had negative impact on the automotive parts market.

ABC.AZ informs that due to regional tensions that create logistical difficulties, prices are rising, particularly for auto parts imported in Azerbaijan from Dubai.

According to the entrepreneurs, there were difficulties with the supply of body parts and chassis components for Chinese and American-made cars from Dubai. This led to a reduction in the supply of these products on the market and an increase in prices by 50-150 manats.

Because of the war, serious problems have arisen with the movement of ships, and the use of alternative routes automatically leads to an increase in the cost of products. In addition, the suspension of direct flights has also made it more difficult to import goods into the country. As a result, the parts are delivered to Azerbaijan through other countries, which increases transportation costs.

Entrepreneurs say that if shortage of some spare parts at the market persists, further price increases are possible in the coming months.
