16:44 - 5.02.2026

February 5, Fineko/abc.az. Equinor expects production at Norway's key field Johan Sverdrup to decrease more than by 10% in 2026, ABC.AZ reports, quoting company's CEO Anders Opedahl.

In 2025, the average daily export was 712,000 barrels. The forecast exceeds analysts' expectations and highlights that it will be more difficult for the global oil market to meet demand in the coming years. The company plans to optimize production using new wells.
