The refinery to produce 1.4 million tons of gasoline and 2.3 million tons of diesel this year

February 5, Fineko/abc.az. In 2026, the Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery plans to produce 1.4 million tons of motor gasoline and 2.3 million tons of diesel fuel in accordance with Euro-5 standard.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) that 1.5 million tons of motor gasoline and 2.5 million tons of diesel fuel were produced in 2025 in accordance with Euro-5 standard.

"The main goal is to ensure reliable, safe, eco-friendly and uninterrupted operation of the oil refining and petrochemical industries. In this context, meeting the demand for motor fuel within the country, increasing the possibilities of processing imported oil and ensuring the stability of petrochemical raw materials are identified as priorities. It is also planned to take measures in this direction in 2026," the company says.
