Saudi Aramco cuts oil prices for the third time in a row amid oversupply

17:29 - 7.01.2026

January 7, Fineko/abc.az. Saudi Aramco will lower oil prices for buyers in all regions for the third month in a row in February due to the continued supply surplus in the market.

ABC.AZ informs that the main variety for Asia, Arab Light, will fall in price by $0.3 per barrel, while other varieties for Asia, the U.S. and Europe will also suffer a similar decline. The decision is in line with market expectations and is being made against the backdrop of continued OPEC+ plans to curb production, falling global oil prices last year and projected oversupply in 2026.
