January 7, Fineko/abc.az. American companies Chevron and Quantum Energy Partners are teaming up for the possible purchase of international assets of Russian company LUKOIL for $ 22 billion, including more than 2,000 gas stations in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

ABC.AZ informs that during the transaction, the assets will be divided between the participants. Earlier, the U.S. Treasury imposed sanctions against LUKOIL and extended the license for operations with the company until January 17, 2026.
