December 29, Fineko/abc.az. Australian company Woodside Energy has signed a contract with Turkey's BOTAŞ for the supply of approx. 5.8 bcm of liquefied natural gas for up to 9 years, starting in 2030.

ABC.AZ informs that the main supplies will come from the Louisiana LNG project in the U.S. The agreement strengthens Woodside's position in the European market and highlights the role of U.S. LNG in ensuring the energy security of U.S. allies.
