December 29, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are increasing in Monday’s trading after drop at the end of last Friday’s trading.

The price of Brent crude futures for March at the ICE Futures exchange grew by $0.62 (1.03%) up to $60.86 per barrel by 09:33. Following the trading on December 26, March’s Brent crude futures fell by $1.56 (2.52%) to $60.24 per barrel.

The price of February’s WTI crude oil futures at the NYMEX commodity exchange rose by $0.60 (1.06%) up to $57.34 per barrel by 09:33. Following the trading on December 26, WTI crude oil futures for February decreased in price by $1.61 (2.76%), to $56.74 per barrel.

Last week, Brent crude oil increased by 0.28% and WTI by 0.39%. Since the beginning of the year, Brent crude has fallen in price by 19% and WTI by 21%. This is the worst performance since 2020.
