December 18, Fineko/abc.az. In accordance with the peace agenda between Azerbaijan and Armenia, the export of petroleum products from Azerbaijan to Armenia will begin on December 18.
ABC.AZ informs that 22 wagons of AI-95 gasoline produced by SOCAR will be shipped today in compliance with the agreement reached at a meeting on November 28 in the city of Gabala between Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev and Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan.
The export of Azerbaijani petroleum products to Armenia is exclusively commercial in nature, and gasoline will be sold at prices corresponding to international market prices.
The statement issued on December 8 by the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia says that on December 5, a request was received from Tbilisi's partners for a one-time transit of fuel from Azerbaijan to Armenia through the territory of Georgia: "By the decision of Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, Georgian Railways were instructed to immediately carry out free transportation of goods by rail on a one-time basis."
