December 16, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan exported 387,720.45 tons of methanol (methyl alcohol) for $85.479 million for Jan-Nov 2025, ABC.AZ reports, referring to the State Customs Committee.

Compared with the 2024 same term, the value of exported products fell by 9.9% and its volume by 12.1%.

The share of methyl alcohol in the export of the main non-primary goods of Azerbaijani origin is 2.58%. In the initial forms of methanol, the share in overall exports was 0.37%.

Over Jan-Nov 2025, Azerbaijan conducted trade operations with foreign countries for $44.589 billion, including exports for $23.4 billion (a drop of 3.85%) and imports for $21.188 billion (a rise of 12.9%).
