December 16, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Nov 2025, the wind farms in Azerbaijan generated 100 million kWh of electricity (2-fold more versus the 2024 same term), ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee.

Еру solar power plants generated 572.5 million kWh of electricity (10.1% more than a year earlier).

From January to November, electricity generating in Azerbaijan totaled 24.603 billion kWh (1% more against Jan-Nov 2024), including 23.783 billion kWh of commercial electricity (1% more). Of them, 2.665 billion kWh accounted for hydroelectric power plants (a drop of 2% a year), 20.444 billion kWh for thermal power plants (a rise of 0.9%), and 172.9 million kWh for electricity generated by waste incineration (a drop of 5.4%).
