AZAL president: Azerbaijan’s airline to increase passenger traffic up to 7 million until 2020

October 26, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan Airlines’ (AZAL) president Jahangir Askerov announced plans concerning passenger traffic increase.

Askerov stated that for 9 months of 2018 the Heydar Aliyev airport served 3.49 million passengers that is by 10% more than last year.

"Taking into account the opening of new flights by the end of 2020, a priority task is to bring this figure up to 7 million passengers a year," Askerov emphasized.
