December 10, Fineko/abc.az. The average daily oil production in Azerbaijan in 2026 will be 540,000 barrels.

The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) maintained previous forecasts regarding the volume of crude oil production in the country.

According to the forecast, in the 1st quarter of 2026, production will reach 550,000 b/d, in the 2nd quarter it will decrease to 540,000 b/d, and in the 3rd and 4th quarters to 530,000 b/d.

The EIA also maintained its previous estimates for 2025 and expects average daily production to be 570,000 barrels. And in the 4th quarter, this figure is projected at 560,000 b/d.

According to the State Statistics Committee, for Jan-Oct 2025, Azerbaijan produced 23.043 million tons of crude oil (including gas condensate). This figure is 1.1 million tons, or 4.6% less versus Jan-Oct 2024.

Over the reported term, 22.988 million tons of crude oil were produced (1.1 million tons or 4.6% less than in annual terms).
