ABC.AZ informs that Vice President for the Caspian region Bakhtiyar Aslanbeyli made this statement during his today’s speech at the III Industrial Safety Summit organized by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, SOCAR and the Industrial Safety Association of Azerbaijan (AISA) in Baku.
"Over the years, 4.5 billion barrels of oil, 257 bcm of gas, and 60 bcm of gas from the ACG field have been produced and transferred to the state from the fields located in the Caspian Sea. The gas extracted at the ACG field accounts for nearly 25% of the overall gas production in the Caspian Sea. And this shows how much potential these deposits have," he said
According to Aslanbeyli, one of the most significant aspects of our activities is that all our operations are carried out safely, in full compliance with industry standards, without any serious accidents.
"During our work in Azerbaijan, we worked with local and international colleagues to ensure that security and development were respected, applying the highest international standards," he emphasized.
