December 10, Fineko/abc.az. Russia is ready to provide Turkey with the necessary volumes of gas for the gas hub it is creating, if stable sales market is guaranteed.
ABC.AZ informs that according to Nikolai Isakov, a representative of the Russian Gas Society, the Russian Federation has enough reserves and capacities for production and transportation, but supplies will depend on where the gas goes next - to Europe or other countries.
The 200 bcm previously supplied to Europe have already been redirected to China and other markets. Ankara is actively expanding its gas infrastructure and aspires to become a center for the formation of gas prices. The hub project has been discussed since 2022 after the damage to the Nord Streams and involves the transformation of Turkey into a regional export hub.
