November 21, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan is intensively working on the modernization of new stations, transmission lines and energy technologies in accordance with the Green Energy Strategy for the 2030s and 2050s.
ABC.AZ informs that Javid Abdullayev, the director of the State Agency for Renewable Energy Sources, made this statement at the Demo-Day event of international acceleration program Green & Digital Silk Road.
He added that the transition to "green energy" is not limited to the production of alternative energy, but requires complete modernization of country's energy transmission system: "The construction of new stations, the renovation of existing energy infrastructure and the strengthening of transmission lines are the main directions of Azerbaijan's energy policy."
