November 21, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Oct 2025, Georgia imported electricity for $22.25 million from Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ informs that according to Office of National Statistics of Georgia, the figure is 6.6-fold more versus the 2024 same term.

Thus, Azerbaijan took the 1st place among the countries exporting electricity to Georgia.

In the first 10 months of 2025, Georgia purchased electricity from foreign countries for $31.3 million (2.9-fold more than a year earlier).

Georgia imported electricity from Armenia for $5.6 million and from Russia for $3.5 million.
