October 20, Fineko/abc.az. A delegation led by governor of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) Taleh Kazimov has met with representatives of a range of financial institutions in Washington as part of their participation in the annual meeting of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to the CBA, that global macroeconomic situation, current trends and prospects for development of Azerbaijan's financial sector, as well as expansion issues were discussed during meetings with representatives of the Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Mizuho Bank, UBS, and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

The meetings held during the visit to the American capital from October 13 to 18 were important for further strengthening cooperation between the Central Bank and the country's financial sector with international financial institutions, including for strengthening strategic dialogue with international partners.
