September 29, Fineko/abc.az. The INMerge Innovation Summit is taking place in Baku.

ABC.AZ reports that speaking at the summit, Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov touched upon the economic importance of strengthening peace in the region.

The minister stressed that the historic peace agreement signed on August 8 will make an important contribution to the economic and social capitalization of the regions of the South Caucasus and Central Asia.

"This process will bring economic benefits not only for the region, but also on a broader scale," Jabbarov said.
