Over the next decade, OpenAI is committed to spending hundreds of billions of dollars, including allocating $60 bn annually for Oracle services and $18 bn for the construction of joint data centers. According to internal estimates, the damage could reach $44 bn by 2029.
The main difficulty for the company is monetization. So, ChatGPT already has more than 700 million users, but only a small part of them pays for the service. A Menlo Ventures study found that only 3% of users regularly pay for artificial intelligence services, while, according to McKinsey, 80% of companies do not register a significant increase in profits from the introduction of artificial intelligence.
