Nestlé CEO fired amid internal probe

September 2, Fineko/abc.az. The Swiss corporation Nestlé announced that its Board of Directors has dismissed CEO Laurent Freixe.

According to ABC.AZ, this follows the results of an internal investigation, which revealed that Freixe had secretly entered into a “romantic relationship with a direct subordinate,” violating the company’s internal policies. No other details were provided in the statement.

Philippe Navratil, previously the company’s vice president responsible for the development of its coffee brands, including Nescafé and Nespresso, will become the new CEO of Nestlé.
