August 21, Fineko/abc.az. The European Union has announced its readiness to lift tariffs on all industrial goods from the United States and expand access to its market for American seafood and agricultural products, including nuts, dairy products, fruits, vegetables, and meat. According to ABC.AZ, in return, Washington has committed to applying a 15% tariff on goods from the EU and, starting from September 1, 2025, will limit itself to a most-favored-nation regime for such categories as cork, aircraft and their parts, as well as pharmaceutical generics and chemical precursors. In addition, the EU intends to increase purchases of American military and defense equipment, which will become part of a new trade and economic cooperation between the parties.
