August 12, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Jun 2025, Azerbaijani legal entities and individuals carried out trade operations with partners in 166 countries, products were exported to 104 countries and imported from 160 countries, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee. 

Taking into account the statistically estimated value of exported crude oil and natural gas registered with the customs authorities, but whose customs clearance has not been fully completed, country's foreign trade turnover for Jan-Jun 2025 totaled $23.964 billion.

The value of products exported from the country reached $12.442 billion or 51.9% of the turnover, the value of imported products – $11.522 billion (48.1%), resulting in positive balance of $920.1 million. Compared with Jan-Jun 2024, foreign trade turnover increased by 9.4% in actual prices, and decreased by 3.8% in real terms. 

Imports grew by 4.4% in real terms, while exports dropped by 9.3%.
For Jan-Jun 2025, exports of goods not relating to the oil & gas industry amounted to $1.754 billion, compared with Jan-Jun 2024, having increased by 9.9% in actual prices and decreased by 13.2% in real terms.
