Intel to cut more than 20% of employees by end of year

July 25, Fineko/abc.az. Intel is going to end the year with staff size that is more than a fifth less than last year.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to Reuters, that the company announced this on Thursday, July 24. Company's new CEO, Lip Boo Tan, has already presented a plan on the creation of a more cost-effective and streamlined chip manufacturer.

The job cuts, most of which have already been completed, are part of Tang's efforts since he took over the company in March to transform the legendary American chipmaker. Intel split up the business, laid off employees, and redirected resources.
