July 9, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan and Switzerland discussed digital initiatives in the financial sector.

ABC.AZ reports that Central Bank of Azerbaijan’s gpvernor Taleh Kazimov wrote about this on X.

He noted that the meeting took place within the first working visit of the chairman of the National Bank of Switzerland Martin Schlegel to Azerbaijan.

"We had broad exchange of views on processes in the global economy and financial markets, on the priorities of monetary policy and financial stability in the medium-term prospect, as well as on digital initiatives for development of the financial sector. At the meeting, we also expressed satisfaction with the current state of partnership between the countries and discussed the possibilities of expanding cooperation between the institutions," he said.
