May 30, Fineko/abc.az. Russia is considering the possibility of limiting the validity period of bank cards for non-residents to one year, ABC.AZ reports, quoting the deputy head of Rosfinmonitoring, Herman Neglyad.

The measure is aimed at combating droppers - people who transfer their cards to fraudsters.

The initiative is being discussed with the Central Bank and is linked to the increasing cases of recruitment of droppers among foreigners.
