April 4, Fineko/abc.az. Azerenergy OJSC (Azerbaijan) and the Turkish Electric Power Transmission Company (TEIAŞ) have signed an operational agreement in order to increase the export opportunities of electricity from Nakhchivan to Turkey, ABC.AZ informs, citing Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov’s post on his X account.
"We appreciated our cooperation with Turkish Minister of Energy & Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar on strategically important energy security projects. We discussed development of the Southern Gas Corridor, Nakhchivan-Turkey energy transmission and green energy corridor projects of Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey and Bulgaria. In order to increase the export opportunities of electricity from Nakhchivan to Turkey, an operational agreement was signed between Azerenergy and TEIAŞ," Azerbaijani minister’s post says.
