In 2025, banks' interest income increased by 23%

April 4, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani banks’ income from loans for Jan-Feb 2025 has been published.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the CBA that for the first 2 months of 2025, banks' interest income on loans totaled 593.4 million manats (23% more versus Jan-Feb 2024).

Banks' interest income on loans for Jan-Feb 2024 amounted to 482.2 million manats.

Over Jan-Feb 2025, interest expenses reached 262.8 million manats.

Most of the interest expenses were interest expenses on deposits.
