April 1, Fineko/abc.az. Dissemination of instructions on how to cheat cashback has intensified in Russia, according to the Association of Banks of Russia.

Banks intend to tighten measures against customers who use fraudulent schemes to obtain cashback.

ABC.AZ reports that this is stated in Associaition’s materials.

The ABR has sent proposals to Roskomnadzor to counteract such fraud clients. In particular, market participants called for the creation of an interbank database on such scams. The banks also called on Roskomnadzor to actively block "articles and instructions on the Internet calling for earnings on the return of goods, as well as describing any unfair practices for obtaining bonuses and cashback".
