March 17, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Feb 2025, oil transportation through main oil pipelines in Azerbaijan decline by 4.1% to 6.48 million tons.

ABC.AZ was informed at the State Statistics Committee that 73.2% of shipments were carried out via the main Baku-Tbilisi–Ceyhan (BTC) export oil pipeline, and in January–February of this year, oil transportation through this pipeline decreased by 6.3% to 4.429 million tons.

During the period, 83.9% or 3,718 tons of oil transported by BTC was oil produced in Azerbaijan, and 16.1% or 711,500tons was oil coming from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan.
