March 10, Fineko/abc.az. Power outages for domestic consumption are expected in Iraq because of the lack of a direct alternative to compensate for energy imports from Iran.

ABC.AZ informs that earlier, the U.S. administration revoked a permit that allowed Iraq to pay for electricity to a neighboring country.

Country's government has begun to take urgent measures to minimize the consequences. Nevertheless, representatives of the energy industry expect serious disruptions, especially in the summer, according to Reuters.
