March 7, Fineko/abc.az. U.S. President Donald Trump plans to ban citizens of several countries from entering the U.S., ABC.AZ reports, referring to The New York Times.
The Trump administration is working on compiling a red list of countries. It is likely to include states whose citizens were banned from entering the United States during Trump's first term. Among them, The New York Times names Venezuela, Iran, Yemen, North Korea, Cuba, Libya, Syria, Somalia and Sudan. In addition, the list of countries whose citizens will be "categorically banned from entering the United States" may be supplemented by Afghanistan.
In addition to the red list, an orange list of countries will be introduced. The opportunity to enter the U.S. for their citizens will be limited to a certain type of visa and a shorter period of stay.
Countries on the yellow list will be given the opportunity to rectify the situation within 60 days by meeting a number of U.S. requirements, including the rules for issuing passports and providing information about travelers. Otherwise, they will be included in the red or orange country category.
