March 3, Fineko/abc.az. In some cases, taxpayers are unable to meet their obligations on time for certain reasons, resulting in tax arrears.

ABC.AZ informs that the tax authority informs the taxpayer about this in advance through various channels, and sends official notifications and messages.

Administrative measures are being taken against those who do not pay their debts even after warnings have been issued.

Rasul Huseynov, department’s deputy head of the State Tax Service, said that in case of non-payment of the debt and ignoring warnings, according to Article 213 of the Criminal Code, the taxpayer will be held criminally liable.
