February 25, Fineko/abc.az. QatarEnergy and Guangzhou Guangdong Asia & Energy Co. Ltd (G-gas) signed a long-term helium sales & purchase agreement (SPA), ABC.AZ reports, referring to Waterenergy.

The volume of supplies is 100 million ft3/year of helium from Qatar to China, the contract is valid for 20 years.

The helium will be supplied from Qatar's helium plants located in Ras Laffan.

The signing ceremony of the SPA took place at the QatarEnergy headquarters in the presence of Qatar's Minister of State for Energy and Head of QatarEnergy, S. Al-Kaabi, as well as senior executives from G-gas and QatarEnergy.
